Welcome to Studio ONB, a design-led landscape studio established to explore the role of the urban realm and landscape in addressing the complex environmental, ecological, and societal challenges of our time.

 

The Human. We are interested in the everyday lived experience of landscapes. We work collaboratively with communities to understand the life that underpins a place, exploring the connections and barriers to engaging with space, and finding ways to reconnect people who feel disconnected from – or alienated by – their contexts.

 

The Natural. We are interested in nature in all its venerated and unruly forms, embracing its existence and persistence within the structure of the city. Through our work, we explore the power of natural landscapes on the human psyche, their dialogue with the built environment, and the potential of urban ecologies to support both nature and daily wellbeing.
