Frederick Gibberd Partnership
Gibberd, based in Shoreditch, London is an award winning architectural studio working on a wide range of high quality projects. The practice is run by three partners assisted by associate-led project teams.
The practice was established in 1945 by the late Sir Frederick Gibberd. He was one of the most significant British Modernist designers of the late 20th Century, whose work covered architecture, town planning and landscape design.
Our commissions range from commercial schemes to cultural and community developments. The practice is sought after for its experience in healthcare, education and residential projects, that range in size from £ 0.5m to £ 60m, as well as particular skills in historic building conservation and interior design.
With a range of successfully managed projects from inception to completion, the practice has the resources, design skills and technical proficiency to meet the brief, the budget and the programme requirements for all commissions undertaken.
The practice is committed to the promotion of environmental awareness at all stages of the design and construction process. Gibberd also seeks to prompt clients and other building professionals towards a more widespread adoption of environmental measures.
Our mission is to deliver an exceptional architectural service in accordance with client expectations. Understand the ethos and aims of our clients and deliver appropriate, affordable and buildable solutions and focus on continual improvement through investment in staff development and technology to create a commercially successful practice.
