We provide a range of traditional architectural services, as well as interior and furniture design. We are a small team, and our projects include residential, retail and offices, particularly in sensitive contexts.

 

Many of our projects require the protection of Twentieth Century buildings which are all too often torn down as their environmental performance is poor and they are tricky to refurbish. Many of these buildings can be brought back into use and enjoyed without having to resort to wasteful demolition. Our projects include significant listed inter-war and post war buildings such as Utzon’s Ahm House and apartments in Lubetkin’s Highpoint.

 

Our conviction is to build for the future and to build responsibly; conserving energy and resources during construction and throughout a building’s life. We are currently working on the rehabilitation of a disused chalk quarry site in Surrey to create a small nature reserve with new eco housing and communal gardens. We are also designing a new eco lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa.

 

We build long-term relationships with clients, builders, artists, consultants and makers based on clear strategies and good communication. Making buildings is a serious endeavour, but we believe it should be enjoyable for all involved.
